Automation Specialist III - Remote Developer Role

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Automation Specialist III - Remote Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in automation and software development to enhance our operational efficiency and streamline processes. As an Automation Specialist, you will work closely with various stakeholders to implement automation solutions that improve our 401(k) administration and compliance processes.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using tools like UiPath and Power Automate.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and define project requirements.
• Utilize Python and Node.js for scripting and API integrations to enhance system functionality.
• Manage and optimize existing automation workflows, ensuring they meet business needs and compliance standards.
• Conduct testing and debugging of automation processes to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Provide training and support to team members on automation tools and best practices.
• Maintain documentation for automation processes and workflows.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation capabilities.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in automation development, specifically with RPA tools like UiPath or Power Automate.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with API integrations.
• Proficiency in project management and communication skills.
• Experience with 401(k) administration and IRS compliance is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
• Familiarity with tools like GitHub, MySQL, and Excel.
• Experience in customer service and client relationship management.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of additional automation tools such as Zapier, N8N, or GoHighLevel.
• Experience in ECommerce platforms.
• Background in HR generalist functions and benefits administration.
