About the Role

Join The Pokémon Company International as an Associate Product Marketing Manager - Bilingual (Japanese/English) - Video Games. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work remotely while collaborating with teams across the globe. As an Associate Product Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in executing various marketing initiatives focused on console video games.

What You'll Do

  • Support the execution of key strategic company initiatives in product marketing, specifically for console video games.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders within The Pokémon Company International and The Pokémon Company in Japan to achieve business goals.
  • Work closely with the Sr. Manager, Product Marketing to identify problems and provide effective solutions.
  • Act as the point of contact between the Tokyo office and internal TPCi cross-functional teams for video game marketing projects.
  • Drive progress within TPCi, ensuring all teams are informed and tasks are executed on time.
  • Coordinate with the Tokyo office to align marketing activities globally.
  • Review marketing assets for accuracy and relevance.
  • Research and analyze key business metrics and industry trends to inform marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of relevant professional experience in product marketing or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in multinational corporations, particularly in Japan and the U.S.
  • Fluent in both English and Japanese, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of Japanese culture and business customs.
  • Strong project coordination skills with a proven ability to drive results.
  • Experience in video game marketing or development, including localization, is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
