Smith manufactures and markets a variety of products, including residential and commercial water heating equipment. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our assembly processes.
What You'll Do
- Assemble residential water treatment systems accurately from a bill of materials.
- Pick parts from multiple locations and ensure inventory control.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the assembly process.
- Participate in shop clean-up and maintain a safe work environment.
- Complete all phases of the assembly line, including tank filling, final assembly, and packaging.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 6+ months of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs and occasionally lift 100 lbs with assistance.
- Strong measurement and mathematical skills.
- Ability to multi-task and problem-solve effectively.
Nice to Have
- Forklift certification within 60 days of hire.
- Good attitude and team player mentality.
