Area Sales Manager - Remote Position at Delicato Family Wines

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager - Remote to join our dynamic team at Delicato Family Wines. In this role, you will drive company objectives and sales targets by building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors and customers in the local market. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while ensuring consistent growth and high-level customer engagement.

What You'll Do

• Promote and sell all Delicato Family Wines brands to exceed sales quotas and identify new business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributor and wholesaler partners, overseeing inventories and program execution.
• Schedule and lead effective distributor meetings, coordinating reporting against sales targets.
• Execute assigned programs and introduce creative strategies based on market needs.
• Conduct wine tastings, fundraisers, trade shows, and other events for distributors and wholesalers.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years in the wine or consumer packaged goods industry, with experience managing distributor relationships preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite Applications.
• Ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

• Knowledge of wine tasting and sensory evaluation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders effectively.
