About the Role

We are seeking a talented Production Maintenance Engineer to join our innovative team at Schaeffler. This Production Maintenance Engineer role offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to the advancement of technology in the automotive and industrial sectors. You will play a key role in analyzing and interpreting process data, ensuring the efficiency of our operations.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and interpret analysis and process data from supply and disposal systems.
• Develop action plans and decision-making templates to enhance operational efficiency.
• Plan and coordinate complex, non-routine investment and maintenance measures for supply and disposal systems, including project management.
• Optimize supply and disposal systems from both technical and economic perspectives.
• Plan and oversee digitalization projects in collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Ensure the maintenance of technical documentation for processes and systems.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Nanotechnology, or a comparable field.
• Strong knowledge in general and analytical chemistry, thermodynamics.
• Experience in mechanical process engineering.
• Excellent understanding of thermal separation processes.
• Expertise in apparatus construction and plant engineering, focusing on exhaust air technology and wastewater treatment technology.
• Relevant experience and knowledge in environmental protection law.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong organizational skills and a high level of resilience and commitment.
