Adult Mental Health Practitioner - Remote Position

About the Role

We're hiring an Adult Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Kooth. This fully remote position allows you to provide essential digital mental health support to adults, working flexible hours between 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Saturdays from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. As an Adult Mental Health Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the emotional well-being of individuals through our innovative online platform.

What You'll Do

• Provide digital emotional wellbeing support and interventions to adults, managing your own caseload effectively.
• Offer text-based online support and advice in line with the iRespond clinical delivery model.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the needs and risks of each service user.
• Moderate service user content, ensuring compliance with internal policies and safeguarding regulations.
• Maintain accurate case notes and records using Kooth-approved systems.
• Participate in clinical supervision and training to enhance your professional development.
• Attend management supervision meetings to review clinical work and performance against KPIs.

Requirements

• Essential: Degree in a relevant subject (social care, mental health nursing, counselling, social work, psychology) or equivalent professional qualification.
• Desirable: A relevant professional mental health qualification and demonstrable experience in mental health support.
• Ongoing specialist training in Mental Health Suicide Prevention and Self-Harm Mitigation.
• Experience in safeguarding and risk management interventions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with service users.

Nice to Have

• Experience in providing online mental health support.
• Knowledge of compliance and legal requirements in mental health practice.
• Familiarity with digital health platforms and tools.
