About the Role

We are excited to announce an opening for a Warehouse Team Lead - Remote Opportunity at Abel & Cole. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to work within a small, dedicated team focused on quality control and efficient product packing using our Vertical Form Fill (VFF) Machine in a busy warehouse environment. As a Warehouse Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.

What You'll Do

• Organize and manage the packing and storage areas to ensure efficient workflow and space utilization.
• Set daily, weekly, and monthly objectives, clearly communicating targets and expectations to the team.
• Plan and organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
• Provide clear direction, instruction, and guidance to ensure operational goals are achieved.
• Lead, support, manage, and develop team members, including coaching, monitoring performance, and building strong working relationships.
• Oversee workloads and resources to ensure operational plans are delivered effectively and efficiently.
• Resolve operational issues promptly and highlight any concerns within the area of responsibility.
• Ensure correct stock rotation procedures are consistently followed.

Requirements

• Proven ability to supervise, organize, and motivate a team to achieve operational targets while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in giving clear instructions and constructive feedback.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions, and resolve operational issues effectively.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven approach.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Previous warehouse experience is essential; supervisory experience is desirable.

This is a full-time contract position of 37.5 hours per week, Sunday – Thursday. Remuneration for this position will be issued weekly.
