VP of Engineering - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of Engineering - Remote to lead our engineering team and drive technical strategy. In this role, you will oversee the development and implementation of innovative engineering solutions that align with our business goals. As a VP of Engineering - Remote, you will play a crucial role in scaling our engineering capabilities and enhancing our product offerings.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a talented engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute the engineering strategy, ensuring alignment with product management and business objectives.
• Drive the adoption of modern engineering practices and tools, including OpenTelemetry, ClickHouse, and Kafka.
• Oversee the architectural design and implementation of cloud-native solutions, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, providing updates on engineering progress and challenges.
• Utilize AI tools and cloud integrations to enhance product capabilities and observability.
• Contribute to technical writing and documentation to support engineering processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a VP of Engineering or in a similar leadership role within a B2B SaaS environment.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, distributed systems, and data platforms.
• Experience with engineering management, team scaling, and process improvement.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
• Familiarity with architectural patterns and software development best practices.
• Experience with Kotlin and open-source technologies is a plus.
