Unarmed Security Officer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are currently seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for providing protection and security of persons, property, and buildings. As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will work independently or as part of a team, ensuring a safe environment for all. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $18.25 to $20.50 per hour, depending on experience. Join us in making a difference in the security industry!

What You'll Do

• Provide protection and security of persons, property, and buildings as an Unarmed Security Officer.
• Complete monitored guard tours (Detex / QR Patrol) throughout your shift every hour.
• Report activity in 15 to 30 minute intervals using a 2-way radio or company phone.
• Maintain a physical presence at the facility, serving as a highly-visible deterrent to illegal activity.
• Handle typical and crisis situations calmly, efficiently, and effectively at client sites.
• Learn and use mobile specialized Detex and reporting software.
• Perform essential functions of the position, including standing, walking, bending, driving, and climbing stairs in all weather conditions.

Requirements

• Valid California Guard Card is required before employment begins.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality standards.
• Ability to work different assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills in English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively.
• Neat and professional appearance with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.

Nice to Have

• Experience in security services or related fields.
• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
