UI/​UX Designer - Remote Position

About the Role

Dawn is seeking a talented and passionate UI/UX Designer remote to join our fully remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, visually engaging, and user-centered digital experiences across web and mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to transform ideas and requirements into elegant, functional designs.

What You'll Do

• Design user-centered interfaces for web and mobile applications
• Create wireframes, mockups, user flows, and high-fidelity visual designs
• Develop interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas and validate user experiences
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterate designs based on feedback
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure accurate and high-quality implementation of designs
• Contribute to and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI standards
• Balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints in design decisions
• Stay up to date with UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio of web and/or mobile projects
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
• Solid understanding of user experience principles, usability, and accessibility standards
• Experience designing responsive and mobile-first interfaces
• Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote work environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently

Nice to Have

• Experience working in fully remote or distributed teams
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows
• Knowledge of design systems and component-based design
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing
