About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Trading Business Operations Lead to join our team at Anchorage Digital. This remote position offers the opportunity to lead operational and non-trading functions for our Anchorage Digital Prime business. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of complex trades and the optimization of our operational workflows.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the operational and trade lifecycle management for complex and high-value trades across multiple desks.
  • Collaborate with Front Office and Middle/Back Office teams to design and implement efficient operational workflows for new products and markets.
  • Oversee the integration and optimization of trading, risk, and settlement systems to ensure data accuracy.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for trade breaks, settlement failures, and reconciliation issues, driving swift resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements for all trading activities.
  • Manage relationships with prime brokers and custodians, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place.
  • Lead the internal New Product Committee process, conducting thorough due diligence on new trading strategies.
  • Develop and monitor operational KPIs to measure efficiency and service quality across all support functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in a COO, Head of Operations, or senior Business Management role within a sell-side trading business.
  • Deep understanding of operational and risk implications of products across Spot/Cash Markets, Prime Finance, and Derivatives.
  • Experience with trading and settling digital assets, including crypto futures and ETPs.
  • Strong knowledge of global financial market regulations and operational best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge gaps between traders and operational specialists.
