As a Telecom Aerial Laborer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring connectivity and enhancing communication infrastructure.

What You'll Do

  • Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed to facilitate efficient operations.
  • Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed by the crew leader.
  • Ensure that door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day.
  • Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools as required for installation tasks.
  • Direct and flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines to ensure safety on-site.
  • Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
  • Perform work in all weather conditions and adapt to changing environments.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
  • High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
  • Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional) with an acceptable driving record.
  • Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified.
  • Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus.
  • Physical abilities to routinely work with arms above shoulder level at heights, in confined spaces, and in remote locations.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and operate vehicles and heavy machinery.

  • Experience with telecommunications equipment and installation processes.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the telecommunications industry.
