About the Role

Altium is seeking a skilled Technical eLearning Content Developer to join our dynamic team remotely. This role is pivotal in transforming the way electronics are designed and built, providing top-tier educational experiences for professionals in the electronics design and engineering field. As a Technical eLearning Content Developer, you will create visually engaging and interactive eLearning experiences that empower PCB designers and engineers.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop interactive eLearning modules using Articulate Storyline, Articulate 360, and Articulate Rise, focusing on technical and engineering topics.
  • Create visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and animations to enhance technical learning materials.
  • Develop simulations, multimedia presentations, and other interactive content that improves user engagement and learning outcomes for engineering professionals.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to accurately translate complex technical information into visually engaging eLearning experiences.
  • Produce learning assets that follow accessibility standards (WCAG), usability, and quality standards using templates, UI patterns, and consistent navigation.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in eLearning design, graphic design, and technical communication to continually improve the quality of our training materials.
  • Implement and maintain course components in LMS/LXP environments (SCORM/xAPI packaging, testing, troubleshooting).
  • Run comprehensive QA cycles including functional testing, cross-browser checks, and review iteration.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience building eLearning with Articulate Storyline (portfolio or samples required).
  • Strong proficiency in graphic design with the ability to create visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and animations.
  • Experience in creating simulations, multimedia presentations, and interactive user experiences for technical audiences.
  • Solid understanding of eLearning design principles and best practices for technical training.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent visual communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with e-learning localization, preferably in Articulate environments.
  • Strong attention to detail, production discipline, and the ability to manage multiple deliverables.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with additional eLearning development tools.
  • Familiarity with instructional design methodologies.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards in eLearning.
