Tech Ops Support Specialist - Remote Support Role
About the Role
We’re hiring a Tech Ops Support Specialist to join our dynamic team at Monzo. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our Monzonauts have the tools and support they need to excel in their work. As a Tech Ops Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for technical queries, providing essential support to our team members. This position is not fully remote, but offers flexibility to work from home when needed.
What You'll Do
- Answer technical queries and questions in Slack, ensuring timely responses to support requests.
- Assist colleagues in resolving their issues face-to-face or via video calls, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Order laptops and peripherals, ensuring all team members are equipped with the necessary tools.
- Deliver laptop onboarding sessions for new Monzonauts, helping them get set up efficiently.
- Manage macOS devices using Jamf, ensuring compliance and security across our systems.
- Carry out basic admin actions across various SaaS platforms, supporting the operational needs of the team.
Requirements
- Experience working in a technical team, dealing with a wide range of technical issues daily.
- Ability to present technical information effectively to groups of varying technical expertise.
- Passion for helping people and creating an inclusive support environment.
- Proficient in troubleshooting macOS issues, with a solid understanding of basic networking.
- Willingness to learn on the fly and share knowledge with others.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Jamf or similar device management tools.
- Familiarity with various SaaS platforms.
- Previous experience in a customer support or technical support role.
