About the Role

This remote opportunity allows you to lead a specialized team responsible for operating CPKC’s bridge inspection vehicle, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant evaluations of railway structures across the network. You will oversee field operations, coordinate inspection activities, and ensure accurate reporting to support infrastructure integrity and regulatory adherence. This position requires a minimum of 80% travel across the territory, making it ideal for those who enjoy a dynamic work environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily bridge inspection vehicle operations, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Plan inspection schedules, routes, and resource allocation effectively.
• Conduct field safety briefings and enforce safe work practices.
• Coordinate track access with dispatch engineering and maintenance teams.
• Review inspection data, photos, and reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to maintain high performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general equivalency.
• Minimum of 4 years of railroad track or bridge experience.
• Valid Class A CDL or Class B CDL driver’s license.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in computer systems.
• Knowledge of railroad bridge inspection, maintenance, and construction practices.
