Summer Driver Position - Line and Local Transport

About the Role

We are seeking a Summer Driver to join our team at Posten Bring. This exciting remote summer driver position involves operating both line and local transport in Bergen. You will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.

What You'll Do

• Prepare vehicles for transport, ensuring they are in optimal condition.
• Conduct transport stages, adhering to safety and operational guidelines.
• Load and unload cargo, maintaining a focus on efficiency and safety.
• Monitor and maintain vehicle condition, reporting any issues promptly.
• Represent the company positively to customers and suppliers, ensuring high service standards.

Requirements

• Valid CE driver's license.
• Knowledge of ADR regulations is a plus.
• Experience with T1-T4 forklift certification is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate flexibility.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety on the road.
• Good command of Norwegian or another Nordic language.
• Physical fitness and a willingness to engage in varied tasks.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a driving role.
• Familiarity with local transport routes in Bergen.
