Material Procurement Specialist - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Material Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team at Antolin. This remote position offers you the chance to play a vital role in ensuring the availability of materials for our operations in Bamberg and Hranice. You will be responsible for the timely, economical, and quality procurement of materials, contributing significantly to the stability of our supply chains and production efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Plan, control, and monitor material procurement considering costs, deadlines, and quality requirements.
• Manage and develop supplier relationships to ensure optimal procurement processes.
• Oversee special processes and projects related to material procurement.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Aftermarket, Finance, Sales, Logistics, and Production.
• Take on responsibilities in the area of Pilot Buying to enhance procurement strategies.

Requirements

• Completed commercial training with specific knowledge (e.g., Industrial Clerk or Wholesale and Foreign Trade Clerk) or comparable qualification.
• Professional experience in procurement or material disposition, ideally in the automotive industry.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with common office applications.
• Reliability, teamwork, and initiative are essential qualities.
• Strong negotiation skills and persistence in problem-solving.
• Ability to work under pressure with a structured and conscientious approach.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for teamwork.

Nice to Have

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of automotive supply chain processes.
• Fluency in additional languages.
