Internship - M&A and Debt Advisory (Remote)

About the Role

This internship will provide you with exposure to financial analysis, deal structuring, and client engagement within a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do

• Support the team in originating and executing buy-side and sell-side M&A and Debt Advisory mandates.
• Conduct thorough market and industry analysis to inform strategic decisions.
• Assist in the preparation of transaction materials, including teasers, information memorandums, management presentations, and financial models.
• Support the management of due diligence processes to ensure smooth transactions.
• Engage in ad-hoc assignments, internal and external presentations, and reporting/monitoring tasks.

Requirements

• Work Authorization: Candidates must hold EU nationality or possess a valid work permit for Austria.
• Academic Background: Advanced studies in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Interpersonal Skills: Flexible team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Technical Skills: Strong analytical abilities and advanced proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Work Ethic: Strong commitment to delivering on multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in other CEE languages is a plus.
• Experience: Relevant job experience (internships or similar) is a plus.
• Interest Areas: A demonstrated interest in corporate finance and the energy & infrastructure sector is a strong plus.
• Availability: Open for a period of up to 6 months, with flexible starting dates available.
