Bank Housekeeper - Flexible Hours

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Bank Housekeeper to join our team at Hatzfeld Care. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the well-being of our residents while enjoying flexible hours. As a Bank Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our facilities. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing quality care and support to adults with varying needs, including those with Asperger’s, Schizophrenia, and Dementia.

What You'll Do

• Organize and provide cleaning services within Eagle House in accordance with agreed standards and legislative requirements.
• Supervise the cleaning and laundry services to ensure compliance with best practices.
• Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of cleaning processes and implement necessary improvements.
• Systematically address and resolve day-to-day cleaning issues that arise.
• Ensure the rights and welfare of Service Users are protected at all times.
• Communicate effectively with Service Users and their visitors to foster a supportive environment.

Requirements

• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Desirable but not essential: Previous experience in a similar environment.
• Experience working as a housekeeper or with Service Users who have additional support needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of individuals supported.

Nice to Have

• Experience in residential care settings.
• Knowledge of cleaning standards and regulations.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and needs.
