About the Role

We are looking for a Strategic Supplier Governance Consultant - Remote to assist our client in the energy sector with supplier engagement and performance management. This remote position offers you the opportunity to work independently while making a significant impact in the energy industry.

What You'll Do

• Conduct As-Is Analysis of stakeholder interactions with suppliers.
• Provide consulting support to the department head to enhance supplier governance.
• Design an information repository for strategic suppliers to streamline communication.
• Document findings and submit formal proposals to improve supplier performance.
• Evaluate current communication strategies and propose actionable improvements.
• Share industry best practices to elevate supplier management standards.
• Develop a centralized repository concept for efficient information sharing.
• Define information sharing protocols to ensure clarity and transparency.
• Submit deliverables for client sign-off, ensuring all requirements are met.
• Act as an external resource for the client, providing expert insights and recommendations.

Requirements

• Experience in supplier governance and stakeholder analysis within the energy sector.
• Strong consulting skills with a proven track record of success.
• Ability to analyze and propose new structures and processes for supplier management.
• Expertise in contract negotiations and supplier performance management.
• Excellent documentation and proposal writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, managing your own time effectively.
