About the Role

Instacart is hiring a full-time Staff Product Designer – Growth to join our innovative team. This Staff Product Designer remote position offers you the opportunity to work from anywhere in Canada while contributing to the growth of one of North America's leading grocery delivery services. You will play a critical role in shaping the user experience and driving product design initiatives that enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design process for growth-related projects, collaborating closely with product managers and engineers.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve user experience.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts.
• Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across products.
• Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on best practices in product design.
• Analyze user feedback and metrics to iterate on designs and enhance product performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer, with a focus on growth initiatives.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and successful projects.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the e-commerce or grocery delivery industry.
• Familiarity with front-end development technologies.
• Knowledge of analytics tools to measure design impact.
