Senior Industrial Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to join our innovative team remotely. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of mobility and energy transition while utilizing your engineering expertise. As a Senior Industrial Engineer, you will be instrumental in optimizing production processes and implementing effective strategies that enhance productivity.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement measures for production optimization.
• Define and budget planned production investments.
• Establish and monitor the effectiveness of process and production optimizations.
• Introduce timed manufacturing processes and strive for balanced production, including pull systems.
• Identify waste and resolve causes of machine issues to boost productivity.
• Manage external development partners to ensure timely implementation.
• Collaborate closely with all departments along the production chain.
• Conduct and coordinate training on new workflows within the Energy Team.

Requirements

• Completed technical education (FH/TU) with a focus on electrical engineering.
• Several years of experience in planning, implementing, and optimizing production processes.
• Good knowledge of relevant process management methods (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen).
• Conversational proficiency in German and English, both spoken and written.
• Team player with a communicative, proactive, and organized personality.
• Independent, responsible, and solution-oriented work style.
• Flexibility for travel (approximately 20%).

Nice to Have

• Experience in the energy sector.
• Familiarity with advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Project management certification.
