About the Role

We are seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to join our fast-growing team at DualEntry, a leading AI startup revolutionizing the finance sector. This remote Staff Frontend Engineer position offers you the opportunity to build and maintain high-performance web applications that deliver seamless user experiences. You will have full ownership of your work, deploying daily and making impactful decisions that drive our product forward.

What You'll Do

• Build, ship, and own major parts of the product UI using React and Next.js.
• Design and optimize interactive experiences that simplify complex workflows.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to ensure seamless integration and clarity.
• Contribute to architecture, performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across browsers.
• Help define our frontend system and component library as we scale.
• Elevate the quality of the product through thoughtful details and user-centric design.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in frontend development with a strong focus on React (experience with Next.js is a plus).
• Solid understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript, including scoping, closures, context, prototypes, and classes.
• Strong grasp of responsive UI, accessibility, and usability principles.
• Experience building and testing APIs; familiarity with HTTP, Postman, and debugging.
• Clear product thinking with a keen eye for polish and attention to design details.
• Fluent in English (C1+) with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar databases.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and fast-paced development environments.
• Interest in learning new frameworks and solutions to engineering problems.
