About the Role
Are you ready to take on a challenging role as a Software Validation Engineer for European Space Programs? This remote position offers you the chance to work with GMV, a leader in the aerospace technology sector, where you will contribute to key European space programs such as Galileo, MTG, and EPS.
What You'll Do
- Engage in the entire software validation process, from initial requirements analysis to final product delivery.
- Define and write comprehensive test procedures to ensure software quality.
- Detect software anomalies and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Develop and configure tools to automate testing processes, enhancing efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
- Participate in on-site activities alongside satellite operators, gaining hands-on experience.
Requirements
- A degree in engineering or a related field with a keen interest in testing, validation, and test automation.
- Familiarity with complex and distributed systems, particularly on the Linux operating system.
- Experience with V&V-related tools such as DOORS, Jira, and Git.
- Proficiency in programming languages, especially Python.
- Knowledge of test automation tools like Robot Framework.
- Understanding of API query languages such as REST or GraphQL.
- Experience in planning, preparing, executing, and reporting on test campaigns.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the aerospace sector or similar fields.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Who Will Succeed Here
