Software Engineer - Tax (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer - Tax (Remote) to join our international Research & Development Team at Regnology. As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our agile development cycle, contributing to the enhancement of our Abacus software product, specifically in the RegTech area. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex regulatory reporting and financial compliance solutions.

What You'll Do

• Analyze, design, program, test, maintain, and document regulations and business/client-specific technical requirements for national and international Banking Authorities.
• Support customers and Business Analysts with technical issues and inquiries.
• Produce reasonable test cases and test data, defining user stories within the agile software development process.
• Create comprehensive documentation for both clients and internal use.
• Collaborate with a dynamic team of Software Engineers, Test System Operators, Architects, and other professionals across various levels and skills.

Requirements

• Successfully completed university studies in business administration, computer science, or natural sciences.
• Experience in writing software using SQL and Java, with a solid understanding of databases.
• A passion for working in an international, agile environment.
• A hands-on mentality and the ability to think creatively to integrate your ideas into the business.
