What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with product managers and customer solution architects to understand the needs of our most sophisticated customers.
  • Design and implement the next generation of Rubrik’s API ecosystem that’s loved by developers and maintainers alike.
  • Engage with Rubrik’s own developers to improve and simplify their API development experience.
  • Spearhead the API hygiene and define coding, quality standards, and software development processes in our API stacks.
  • Drive the adoption of design patterns that enhance the usability and functionality of our APIs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 0 - 2 years of software engineering experience.
  • Applied knowledge of API design principles and best practices (GraphQL, REST, OpenAPI, Swagger).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud platforms and distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of security practices related to API development.
