About the Role

What You'll Do

• Provide counseling and case management services to families with children, including homeless families.
• Process and maintain a variety of forms and records, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
• Conduct client assessments to identify barriers to employment and provide appropriate referrals to services.
• Utilize information technology to manage records and determine eligibility for childcare services.
• Collaborate with Child Welfare populations and childcare providers to ensure effective service delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field or equivalent experience.
• Three years of directly related experience in social work or case management.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Knowledge of social work principles and community resources.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of childcare resources and regulations.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Familiarity with NC FAST Certification.
