About the Role

MAKE is seeking a talented Social Media and Community Manager to join our innovative team. As a Social Media and Community Manager, you will play a vital role in shaping our brand's voice and presence across various platforms. This is a unique opportunity to work remotely while engaging with the creator community and helping them manage their banking needs effectively.

What You’ll Do

  • Engage actively in online communities, particularly on platforms like Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, and X, fostering genuine conversations and building trust.
  • Create and manage MAKE’s own Reddit community, focusing on moderation and engagement.
  • Develop interactive programs such as AMAs and community challenges to encourage participation.
  • Set up and grow our organic social channels, producing engaging content that resonates with creators.
  • Collaborate with designers and content managers to ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
  • Track performance metrics and share insights to continuously improve our social media strategies.
  • Identify and collaborate with influencers who align with MAKE’s mission, building authentic relationships.
  • Utilize data analytics to understand audience engagement and refine our approach to community management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing social media channels and online communities.
  • Strong understanding of creator communities and the ability to connect authentically.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Hands-on experience with content creation, including video and design.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in influencer marketing or managing brand ambassadors.
  • Deep familiarity with social media trends and best practices.
  • Experience in the financial services or fintech industry.
