About the Role
MAKE is seeking a talented Social Media and Community Manager to join our innovative team. As a Social Media and Community Manager, you will play a vital role in shaping our brand's voice and presence across various platforms. What You’ll Do
- Engage actively in online communities, particularly on platforms like Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, and X, fostering genuine conversations and building trust.
- Create and manage MAKE’s own Reddit community, focusing on moderation and engagement.
- Develop interactive programs such as AMAs and community challenges to encourage participation.
- Set up and grow our organic social channels, producing engaging content that resonates with creators.
- Collaborate with designers and content managers to ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
- Track performance metrics and share insights to continuously improve our social media strategies.
- Identify and collaborate with influencers who align with MAKE’s mission, building authentic relationships.
- Utilize data analytics to understand audience engagement and refine our approach to community management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing social media channels and online communities.
- Strong understanding of creator communities and the ability to connect authentically.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Hands-on experience with content creation, including video and design.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience in influencer marketing or managing brand ambassadors.
- Deep familiarity with social media trends and best practices.
