Site Planning Designer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Site Planning Designer to join our team remotely. In this Site Planning Designer remote position, you will play a crucial role in the architectural design and planning of various projects, ensuring that all designs meet industry standards and client specifications. You will collaborate with engineers and architects to create innovative solutions that enhance functionality and aesthetics.

What You'll Do

• Develop comprehensive site plans using AutoCAD and REVIT to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems into designs.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations throughout the design process.
• Utilize SketchUp and other design software to create 3D models and presentations for client reviews.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data for planning purposes.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams during the implementation phase.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into design revisions.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in site planning and architectural design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, and SketchUp is essential for this Site Planning Designer remote role.
• Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and project management tools.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes.
