About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Restaurant Manager / Socio-Professional Assistant to join our team in a remote capacity. This role is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of our cafeteria or restaurant, serving meals while adhering to hygiene and food safety standards. As a Restaurant Manager / Socio-Professional Assistant, you will also be responsible for managing cash operations and training individuals with disabilities, making a significant impact in their integration into the workforce.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee daily operations of the cafeteria or restaurant, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage cash handling processes, including sales, transactions, and financial reporting.
  • Train and mentor individuals with disabilities, fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment and facilities.
  • Engage positively with customers and colleagues, promoting the mission of our organization.
  • Forecast inventory needs based on sales trends and manage supply orders.
  • Complete administrative tasks related to the position, including reporting and documentation.

Requirements

  • Professional certification in hospitality or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the hospitality or catering sector.
  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of table service and HACCP standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Fluent in French, both written and spoken.
