Shift Lead - Manufacturing Operations

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Shift Lead to join our manufacturing team in Youngstown, Ohio. As a Shift Lead, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Supervisor with daily work assignments, production management, and quality assurance. This position is essential for ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

What You'll Do

• Assist the Supervisor with daily work assignments and production management.
• Monitor press operations and report any downtime to the Supervisor promptly.
• Ensure quality levels are maintained during production processes.
• Foster a positive workplace culture and encourage teamwork among all shifts.
• Communicate effectively with the Supervisor and management regarding any operational issues.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations to promote safety and efficiency.
• Adapt to changing circumstances and assist in various roles as needed.
• Lead by example and support team members in their responsibilities.

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in a leadership role.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.

• Willingness to assist beyond assigned shift hours when necessary.
