Service and Recreation Coordinator - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

Are you passionate about outdoor recreation and providing exceptional service? We are looking for a Service and Recreation Coordinator remote to join our team at Flathead Lake Lodge. This role offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes of Northwestern Montana while ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience.

What You'll Do

• Guide guests on paddle board trips, river floating, and hiking adventures.
• Perform housekeeping duties including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Assist in coordinating various recreational programs such as mountain biking, children’s programs, and elk preserve tours.
• Work closely with the Service and Recreation Manager to execute daily schedules and enhance guest experiences.
• Maintain a safety-first approach while operating a 15-passenger van for local transportation.
• Embrace and represent the core values of Flathead Lake Lodge in all interactions.
• Lead groups on recreational outings, ensuring a positive and professional service approach.
• Support other departments as needed, demonstrating a willingness to help wherever possible.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old to operate a passenger van.
• Ability to be on your feet for up to 8 hours a day and lift/carry up to 60 lbs.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Previous experience in hospitality or recreation is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Nice to Have

• Experience in outdoor activities and guiding.
• First aid or CPR certification.
• Knowledge of local flora and fauna.
