About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team at Watermark Retirement Communities, a leader in senior living for over 30 years. As a Server in our community, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience for our residents, making this position much more than just a job. This Server role offers you the opportunity to create genuine connections and provide extraordinary service in a warm and welcoming environment.
What You'll Do
- Deliver exceptional dining experiences to our residents, ensuring their needs are met with kindness and patience.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and dining staff to ensure smooth service and satisfaction.
- Engage with residents to build meaningful relationships and understand their preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring all health and safety standards are met.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and grow within the community.
Requirements
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Experience in a fast-paced dining environment.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to providing excellent service.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills.
- Prior experience as a server is preferred but not required.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Certification in food safety or related training.
