About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Web Engineer to join our dynamic team at Flipster, a leading crypto perpetual trading platform. This remote position offers you the chance to work with a high-performance team dedicated to creating an efficient and frictionless trading experience. As a Senior Web Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing our web applications to support large-scale trading traffic.

What You'll Do

• Build high-performance web applications that support large-scale trading traffic.
• Optimize mobile webview environments for seamless app integration.
• Enhance trading features with TradingView and advanced charting capabilities.
• Develop internal web applications to support business operations.
• Improve search visibility and web performance using Next.js and SSR architecture.
• Implement WebSocket-based solutions for real-time trading data updates.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in frontend development with React or equivalent expertise.
• Proven experience with project setup and early-stage service architecture.
• Hands-on experience in mobile/webview optimization.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
• Active contributor to code reviews and technical documentation.
• Passion for new technologies and a strong growth mindset.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Next.js SSR and performance optimization.
• SEO optimization and search visibility improvement.
• Strong understanding of bundlers (Webpack, Vite, etc.).
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Interest or background in crypto/financial services and trading platforms.
• Hands-on experience with TradingView API and real-time WebSocket data handling.
• Interest in team building and leadership, with potential to grow into a leadership role.
• Experience with iOS / Android native development.
