About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Web Developer (E-commerce) to join our dynamic team at PackTHC. This remote position offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects in the e-commerce sector, focusing on building scalable and performance-oriented web applications. As a Senior Web Developer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our web platforms to enhance user experience and drive conversions.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain custom web and e-commerce functionality.
  • Build reusable front-end components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Work with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Vue.
  • Implement and maintain backend logic using Node.js, PHP, or Python.
  • Integrate payment gateways, APIs, and third-party services.
  • Optimize sites for performance, SEO, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Debug and resolve production issues effectively.
  • Maintain clean repositories using Git and GitHub.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional web development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with React.js for building modern front-end applications.
  • Working experience with Node.js for backend development and API creation.
  • Practical knowledge of Laravel (PHP) for backend systems and integrations.
  • Experience with Three.js (3D / WebGL) for interactive web components.
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Experience working with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Familiarity with database management (MySQL / PostgreSQL preferred).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with custom e-commerce workflows.
  • Familiarity with headless or API-first architectures.
  • Understanding of caching, security, and scalability.
  • Experience with U.S.-based clients or products.
  • Use of AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, GPT, etc.).
