Senior Visual Designer - Remote for Strategic Merchants
About the Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Visual Designer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will help bring PayPal’s Strategic Merchant Initiative to life, creating visually compelling assets and narratives that demonstrate how PayPal integrates seamlessly with some of the world’s most recognizable merchant brands. This Senior Visual Designer remote position offers the chance to work on high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Design high-fidelity, contextual visuals showing how PayPal experiences would appear across top merchant platforms (e.g., Uber, eBay).
- Create polished, on-brand pitch decks that clearly and persuasively tell the story behind each mock.
- Apply and extend PayPal’s existing design systems to produce fresh, creative concepts while maintaining brand consistency.
- Partner closely with product and design leadership to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and merchant needs.
- Utilize your strong visual craft to create exceptional visual and interaction designs with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional visual design experience, preferably in digital products or marketing/agency settings.
- Strong portfolio showcasing high-fidelity conceptual work and polished presentation design.
- Expertise in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) with expert-level proficiency in Figma.
- Ability to translate complex product concepts into clear, visually compelling narratives.
- Experience in B2B or merchant-facing design preferred.
Nice to Have
- Background in agency-style pitch work or high-fidelity conceptual design for major brands or enterprise clients.
