About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team at TÜV Rheinland. This remote Senior Testing Engineer position offers an exciting opportunity to perform standard and non-standard chemical, mechanical, and electrical analyses or tests in a laboratory setting. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our testing processes.

What You'll Do

• Conduct standard and non-standard tests in a laboratory environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Record and evaluate test results, preparing detailed laboratory test reports.
• Install, operate, and maintain laboratory test equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
• Calibrate and repair testing equipment as necessary to maintain accuracy.
• Supervise junior staff and assist in their development and training.
• Collaborate with the team to develop new testing methodologies and procedures.
• Manage sample disposal and returns, adhering to safety protocols.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support laboratory operations.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience in testing engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of chemical, mechanical, and electrical testing methodologies.
• Experience in operating and maintaining laboratory equipment.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice to Have

• Experience with laboratory management software.
• Familiarity with ISO standards related to testing.
• Previous experience in supervising or mentoring junior staff.
