Senior Technology Manager - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Technology Manager to join our team at Skydropx - Frenet. This fully remote position allows you to lead software engineering teams while ensuring alignment between business strategy and technical execution. As a Senior Technology Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering value through effective team management and technical leadership.

What You'll Do

• Lead software engineering teams, fostering a culture of growth, engagement, and psychological safety.
• Oversee the software development lifecycle from planning to delivery and maintenance, ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Define and analyze engineering metrics such as burn down, burn up, velocity, lead time, throughput, and delivery quality to inform decision-making.
• Prioritize demands in collaboration with product and business areas, balancing team capacity, deadlines, risks, and delivered value.
• Ensure the adoption of agile processes integrated with traditional management models for governance and predictability.
• Support architectural and technical decisions while maintaining close collaboration with the team to uphold quality, scalability, and maintainability standards.
• Promote continuous improvement in processes, engineering practices, code quality, and delivery culture.
• Manage conflicts, risks, and organizational changes with resilience, clarity, and responsibility.

Requirements

• Solid experience in people management and leading engineering teams, with clear, empathetic, and assertive communication skills.
• Experience in performance evaluation, continuous feedback, career development, and succession planning.
• Strong responsibility, resilience, and emotional maturity to thrive in high-pressure environments.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in IT, with a relevant background in software development.
• Practical experience as a developer, with a deep understanding of code, architecture, and best practices.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft ecosystem (.NET, C#, ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core, SQL Server), as well as version control, CI/CD, and engineering.
• Mature knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or similar), applied adaptively.
• Strong understanding of development metrics, quality, predictability, and continuous improvement.
• Experience in high-scale environments, critical systems, digital transformation, and legacy system modernization.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (especially Azure), DevOps, platforms, and value-oriented organizations (SaaS, e-commerce, product).
