Senior Subsea Structural Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Subsea Structural Engineer to join our team remotely. This role is pivotal in enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of subsea engineering projects. As a Senior Subsea Structural Engineer, you will supervise design teams and manage multiple projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and function within a design team across various subsea projects.
• Manage project interfaces, including collaboration with other disciplines and stakeholders.
• Ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables while adhering to budget constraints.
• Provide technical support and engineering solutions based on sound understanding of subsea systems.
• Independently perform structural design and analysis, mentoring junior engineers in the process.
• Utilize industry-standard software for analyses, such as SACS and ABAQUS.
• Ensure all project deliverables meet technical compliance and quality standards.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to the development of in-house design tools.

Requirements

• BSc in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering; MSc preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in subsea engineering and structural design.
• Proficiency in recognized industry software for subsea structure design.
• Experience with FEED and detailed design activities related to subsea and pipeline structures.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards (e.g., DNV, ISO, API).
• Experience in mentoring and training junior engineers.

Nice to Have

• Experience interfacing with offshore pipeline engineering.
• Knowledge of SPS and/or SURF equipment.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD.
