Senior SQL Engineer - Remote Role for AI Data Services

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior SQL Engineer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will work on an hourly paid basis, reviewing AI-generated SQL queries and database designs. What You'll Do

• Review and assess AI-generated SQL queries for accuracy and clarity.
• Identify errors in methodology, query structure, and indexing strategies.
• Write clear, step-by-step explanations and model solutions for complex data problems.
• Rate and compare multiple AI responses based on correctness and performance.
• Develop AI training content by creating detailed prompts and responses.
• Optimize AI performance by evaluating and ranking AI responses.
• Ensure model integrity by testing for potential inaccuracies or biases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience as a SQL Developer or Database Engineer.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL, including complex joins and query plan analysis.
• Experience with database performance tuning and troubleshooting concurrency issues.
• Hands-on experience designing relational data models and schemas.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and working with large-scale data.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency for clear technical communication.

• Experience with AI data training or evaluating AI-generated content.
