Senior Software Tester - Fintech Platform (Remote)

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Software Tester to join our innovative fintech platform. As a Senior Software Tester, you will ensure the quality and reliability of our services, working remotely from Egypt. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for quality assurance and a desire to contribute to a fast-growing financial technology company.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Perform manual functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing to ensure consistent user experiences.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps; communicate effectively with the development team.
• Collaborate remotely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality standards.
• Conduct API testing and validate data integrity and interaction across systems.
• Contribute to test automation efforts where applicable.
• Advocate for quality assurance best practices and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proficiency in English is a must, with excellent spoken and written skills.
• 2+ years of experience in software testing, ideally within fintech or SaaS environments.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and best practices.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira or similar).
• Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup with flexible hours.
• Passion for quality and delivering flawless user experiences.
• Bonus: Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
• Bonus: Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
