Senior Software Engineer - Remote Microservices Development

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Remote to join our innovative team at Chainlink. In this role, you will be responsible for developing microservices that integrate with Chainlink nodes, ensuring the secure delivery of our products to customers. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge blockchain technologies and contribute to the rapidly growing decentralized finance (DeFi) sector.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement secure solutions that facilitate rapid integrations and deployments of Chainlink products across both Web2 and Web3 customers.
• Drive automation for microservices deployments to Node Operators, enhancing scalability and eliminating manual processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure the operational needs of each Chainlink product are met.
• Focus on measurable customer delivery outcomes, ensuring speed, security, and timely delivery of services.
• Build and deploy services and tools to production on a weekly release cadence.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, particularly with TypeScript and Go for backend microservices.
• Proven experience in developing production APIs and microservices with multiple stakeholders.
• Understanding of Solidity and Blockchain Virtual Machines.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) workflows.

Nice to Have

• BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional experience and strong interest in Web3 technologies (EVM, AltVMs).
• Experience with decentralized application (dApp) development or financial infrastructure.
