Senior Software Engineer - Marketing Systems for Healthcare

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer - Marketing Systems to join our innovative team at Sequel Med Tech. As a key player in our mission to transform diabetes management, you'll work remotely and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our marketing systems. What You'll Do

• Build and maintain Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) assets, ensuring high reliability and performance.
• Implement integrations with upstream and downstream systems, utilizing APIs and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with Marketing Operations to establish best practices for email deliverability and customer data management.
• Develop landing pages and reusable components in WordPress/Drupal/Webflow, focusing on accessibility and performance.
• Implement tracking and analytics instrumentation to support data-driven decision-making.
• Partner with BI/Data teams to model audiences and build campaign dashboards, ensuring clear QA processes.
• Follow compliance guidelines, ensuring solutions meet CANSPAM, GDPR/CCPA, and HIPAA standards.
• Mentor junior teammates and participate in code reviews to foster a collaborative learning environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on marketing systems.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Proficient in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, AMPscript/SSJS, and SQL.
• Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress and Drupal; Webflow knowledge is a plus.
• Strong data modeling and ETL/ELT skills, with experience integrating marketing platforms with CRM/CDP.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control.
• Experience in the healthcare or health tech industry.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and compliance standards.
