About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer (Java + Angular + Oracle) to join our dynamic team at Software Mind. This remote position offers you the opportunity to work on transformative projects with tech giants and unicorns. You will be part of a cross-functional engineering team that values creativity and ownership in every project.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java and Angular.
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Develop and manage database objects, queries, and performance tuning in Oracle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement analysis and solution design.
  • Write clean, reusable, and testable code following best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
  • Strong experience with Angular (2+).
  • Solid experience with Oracle SQL/PLSQL and database design.
  • Good understanding of OOP, design patterns, and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and CI/CD processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.

Nice to Have

  • Experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
  • Exposure to containerization and cloud-native development is an advantage.
