About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Crypto.com. This Senior Software Engineer remote position offers the opportunity to design, develop, and improve software for various projects adjacent to our core business. You will actively participate in creating scalable applications, from frontend UI to backend infrastructure, and contribute to our mission of providing top-notch financial services.

What You'll Do

  • Engage in development activities including backend service and operations development.
  • Propose architectural decisions and participate in design reviews.
  • Code, review, and implement products that bridge Crypto.com to developers and end-users.
  • Develop our retail trading products and expand our offerings to new regions and countries.
  • Identify and resolve complex issues within large-scale backend infrastructure.
  • Provide reliable trading information streams to our customers.
  • Offer technical operational support to resolve customer issues.
  • Collaborate closely with the DevOps and Infra team to enhance our technology stack for long-term engineering initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in building first-class products that solve real-world problems.
  • Strong proficiency in Ruby and Golang, with experience in other programming languages being a plus.
  • Familiarity with financial or payment systems is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Postgres, Redis, and Kafka is preferred.
  • Experience in handling scalability, security, and performance optimization.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage conflicting requirements from various stakeholders.
  • A self-motivated, fast learner with a 'get things done' mentality.
  • Open to embracing better ideas from others and eager to tackle challenges.
