Senior Software Engineer - E-commerce Platforms

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Dutchie. This Senior Software Engineer remote position will allow you to architect and build innovative e-commerce platforms that enhance the consumer experience in the cannabis industry. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of dispensaries and their customers.

What You'll Do

• Develop Dutchie's e-commerce platforms using React, TypeScript, Apollo GraphQL, and Styled Components to create seamless online ordering experiences.
• Partner with Product and Design teams to design, develop, and ship new features on our e-commerce roadmap.
• Optimize application performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility for diverse user bases.
• Stay current with modern frontend technologies and best practices in the React ecosystem.
• Continuously improve code quality, developer experience, and customer outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of web/software development experience.
• Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), React, TypeScript, and software best practices.
• Proven ability to write clean, tested, organized, and elegant code.
• Self-starter with the ability to drive projects from start to finish.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A desire to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent code releases.

• Experience in e-commerce, cannabis, or regulatory industries.
• Familiarity with bleeding-edge technology.

• Starting salary range of $149,000 - $201,000 based on experience.
