About the Role
We are seeking a Service Desk Engineer L1 - Remote to join our dynamic team at Tabby. In this role, you will be pivotal in providing support to our users and ensuring smooth operations within our FinTech environment. With over 15 million users, Tabby is reshaping the way people manage their finances, and you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of service.
What You'll Do
- Handle requests from the support team and colleagues, performing basic problem analysis.
- Identify and report bugs to enhance system functionality.
- Standardize solutions and prepare documentation for L1 and L2 teams.
- Analyze technical issues and create development tasks for resolution.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal tools and processes, focusing on automation and BackOffice enhancements.
- Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience working with Jira for ticket management.
- Strong soft skills, including ownership and facilitation of ticket handling and resolution processes.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or Kibana.
- Knowledge of administrative automation tools.
- Proficient in English (B2 level) for written communication and reading technical documentation.
- Understanding of software development principles and experience writing simple SQL queries.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Google Cloud and Google Apps Script.
- Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go.
- Understanding of ITIL processes.
- Basic knowledge of FinTech.
- Jira administration experience.
- Experience working in a startup environment.
