Senior Software Developer (Golang) - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer (Golang) remote to join our dynamic team at Crypto.com. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing software for various venture projects. These projects are adjacent to our core businesses and are rapidly bootstrapped with a lean team. As a Senior Software Developer (Golang) remote, you will be actively involved in the design of various components behind scalable applications, from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Develop backend services and operations, including proposing architectural decisions, participating in design reviews, coding, code review, and implementing features.
• Identify and implement solutions for complex problems within large-scale backend infrastructure.
• Provide technical operational support to resolve customer issues.
• Drive improvements within the technology stack for long-term engineering initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure stakeholder requirements are met effectively.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Golang, with experience in Postgres, Redis, and Kafka preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to juggle requirements from various stakeholders.
• Experience with architectural designs, security, and performance optimization in a high-traffic setting.
• Understanding of Fintech, Sports, or Prediction markets is an advantage.
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer, with a focus on backend development.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
