Senior Software Developer - Golang Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer - Golang Remote to join our innovative team at Crypto.com. In this role, you will design, develop, maintain, and improve software for various projects adjacent to our core businesses. You will be actively involved in creating scalable applications, from frontend UI to backend infrastructure, ensuring that our systems are robust and efficient.

What You'll Do

• Engage in development activities including backend service and operation development, proposing architectural decisions, and participating in design reviews.
• Develop our retail trading products and expand our offerings to new regions and countries.
• Identify issues and implement solutions for complex problems within large-scale backend infrastructure.
• Provide reliable and reactive trading information streams to our customers.
• Offer technical operational support to resolve customer issues effectively.
• Collaborate closely with the DevOps and Infra team to enhance our technology stack for long-term engineering initiatives.
• Manage documentation for all implemented code and functionalities.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Golang with experience in other programming languages being a plus.
• Strong understanding of financial domain knowledge and blockchain technology is advantageous.
• Experience with Postgres, Redis, and Kafka preferred.
• Ability to handle scalability, security, and performance optimization.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, capable of juggling conflicting requirements from various stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, fast learner with a 'get things done' mentality.
• Humble and open to embracing better ideas from others.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a startup environment.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
