Senior SOC Engineer - Cybersecurity Focus

What You'll Do

• Provide operational support across environments, ensuring systems run smoothly from deployment through ongoing maintenance.
• Monitor and manage project execution to ensure timely delivery, adherence to scope, and consistent quality in operational outcomes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of system performance, operational efficiency, and service delivery processes.
• Maintain and operate classified systems, ensuring compliance with security protocols, operational standards, and project documentation.
• Administer and support infrastructure components from bare-metal to applications on firewalls, routers, switches, virtualization platforms, cloud environments, storage, and backup systems.
• Promote collaboration across teams and services to ensure operational alignment with strategic business objectives and service delivery goals.

Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Systems Administrator/Engineer or as a Senior Network Security Engineer, preferably in an international environment.
• Relevant experience on complex systems engineering projects, focusing on security architectures and cybersecurity concepts involving threat, vulnerability, and risk analysis.
• Experience with PKI/certificate lifecycle management and a range of cybersecurity operations systems and solutions.
• Familiarity with best practices and standards like ISO27000, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISA62443, and Common Criteria.
• A professional qualification or certification such as CISSP/CCNA.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; other European languages are an asset.
• Eligible to undergo the ESA and EU secret security clearance procedure.
